Midland Plaza has served Watertown as a home office, commercial building, community resource, and residential address for generations.

Welcome to Midland Plaza

Midland Plaza is in the heart of Watertown, across from the Codington County Courthouse and kitty-corner from the Codington County Heritage Museum.

The building has been family owned since 2003. It includes office and retail space along with apartments on the third floor.

Building benefits include elevator access, on- and off-street parking, affordable space, a friendly atmosphere, and utilities paid on office spaces.

From Midland National Life to Midland Plaza

The building was dedicated in 1951 as Midland National Life Insurance Company’s Watertown home office. After the corporate headquarters moved to Sioux Falls in 1977, the building entered its next chapter as a commercial and mixed-use property.
